Meet Dr. Arianne Suarez Lago
Dr. Arianne Suarez Lago is a highly respected psychiatrist, board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with specialized training in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry. Originally from Cuba, she earned her medical degree from the Medical Science Superior Institute de La Habana in 2008. She went on to complete her adult psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Suarez Lago has developed expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, with a special focus on eating disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders. She served as an attending psychiatrist at the Eating Recovery Center in The Woodlands, where she provided specialized care for adolescents and adults struggling with complex eating disorders. Her dedication to the field also extends to academia—she has worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UT Health Houston, mentoring and supervising child and adolescent psychiatry fellows.
In addition to her board certification in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Suarez Lago holds the Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) credential, awarded by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp™). This internationally recognized certification requires advanced training, thousands of supervised clinical hours, and ongoing education specifically in the treatment of eating disorders. It reflects her commitment to providing expert, compassionate care for patients facing conditions such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and other disordered eating patterns.
Our Office
Located in the heart of Spring, Texas, our clinic offers a welcoming and family-friendly space designed to make patients feel at ease. We provide both in-person and telepsychiatry appointments, ensuring convenient access to care. Our environment is neurodivergent-affirming and equipped with advanced technology for modern mental health treatments, including Apollo TMS and BrainMaster® Neurofeedback.
